John 13:35 tells us Jesus said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (NIV) and Jesus prays for us in John 17:21 "they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."(English Standard).
Even Zechariah 8:21 knew the power of prayer, "The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, "Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will also go." (New American Standard).
